Helping you resolve your differences

About you

You are a telecoms operator, a site provider or an owner of land upon which an operator wants to place equipment.

Your property dispute

There is a dispute between the telecoms operator and the site provider over the terms of a new lease, or the operator is seeking to impose an agreement on the land owner under the Code.

There are a number of important issues that often need to be resolved in Telecoms disputes. A main issue is of course the valuation of the site and the amount that should be paid for the operator’s occupation.  Access to the site is important. The operator will want the maximum amount of access to repair and to add to equipment where necessary. The site owner will be concerned about security. The operator may want a wide fixed “set down” area.  The site owner will be keen to ensure that sections of its property are not made unusable as a result.

There are many other issues that can arise.  Mediation is an ideal method of helping to resolve the different conflicting interests.  The Property Mediators understand the issues that arise in Telecoms cases and can help the parties to resolve them.

The Property Mediators are uniformly excellent. They each display the key attributes of great mediators: patience, integrity, clarity of purpose, sensitivity and understanding, legal acumen and the ability to coax even the most obstinate person into a concession you never thought they ever would make.
